Yes. You don’t need to stop thoughts or concentrate. Thoughts are a normal part of the practice, and the technique works whether you have lots of them or few.

No. You sit comfortably in a chair or on a sofa with your back supported and your eyes closed.

No. Vedic Meditation is a technique, not a belief system. People of every faith and none practice it, and it asks for no change in lifestyle.

Your mantra is chosen for you, and the technique is subtle enough that a teacher needs to check you’re using it effortlessly. That’s why it has always been taught in person, with follow-up afterwards.
